Molly joined First Round Capital in 2019 to lead Dorm Room Fund. In 2022, she spun DRF out as an independent fund and raised $12.5M from LPs including Marc Andreessen and Insight Partners. Before venture, she was an operator at Sidewalk Labs' Intersection, City of Los Angeles government, and ran political campaigns. She trained alongside First Round partner Bill Trenchard. She has been building DRF for seven years.

Madi runs DRF's student investing program and portfolio operations. An investor and builder by training, she previously helped fund and launch companies at Mike Bloomberg and Tom Secunda's venture studio Hangar, and co-founded Sidebar. Her background spans Tech:NYC, IBM Watson, and the State Department. She chose investing because she would rather back 30 companies than start one at a time.
