And while technology has made bringing these ideas to life cheaper and faster, obtaining the necessary ‘dorm room’ sized capital from investors has remained difficult and unchanged. That’s why we, as students, are here - to bridge this massive disconnect and provide the capital that dorm room entrepreneurs need to start and grow their amazing businesses.
Where
We live in Philly. We’ve seen some incredible companies get their start in University City dorms rooms - like Warby Parker, Invite Media, Milo, and Admob. And we can’t wait to add even more to this list.
Who
We are students. Engineers. Marketers. Mathematicians. Builders. Scientists. So from the next great consumer app to big data analytics - if can be big, we want to tallk.
When
We fund students looking for their first check and we’re happy to invest alongside friends and family. Our goal is to provide that first $10,000 - $20,000 of capital to help an entrepreneur's dorm room vision turn into a real world seed stage company.
We believe that, when small amounts of capital can find
remarkable students with big ideas, amazing things can happen.
